In November 2020, Kameron Young has the honor of being on of the recipients of the Honorable C. Eugene Cox, CBE Performance Awards. The scholarship was worth $15,000 and was for the 2020/21 school year. Kameron is studying for her BSc. in Biomedical Engineering at Queen Mary University.

The Honorable C. Eugene Cox CBE was born and raised in Sandys, Bermuda.
After pursuing a career in engineering, he rose through the ranks to become the Senior Vice President of the Bermuda Electric Light Company (BELCO).
In addition to making great contributions to the engineering field in Bermuda, the Honorable C. Eugene Cox CBE served as a public servant for over 30 years, notably as the Minister of Finance and Deputy Premier of Bermuda.
With these awards, the Cox family aims to ensure that training and development of Bermudians in the STEM space continues in order to enable Bermuda’s next generation of innovators for an improved Bermuda tomorrow.
